MINIMALLY INVASIVE SURGICAL PROCEDURES

S-Lift

As aging takes effect on the skin, there is a noticeable change to the firmness and texture, accompanied by wrinkles that continue to deepen over time. Many people are discouraged by the signs of aging, but are not ready for a full face lift and desire a more natural improvement to their appearance.

The S-Lift, also referred to as a mini face lift, is a popular alternative to the traditional full face lift. With the S-Lift, the incisions are smaller and less invasive with a faster recovery period. This procedure is perfect for people who have mild to moderate sagging in the cheeks, neck, or chin and want to obtain a more youthful, natural appearance.

The S-Lift is performed in Dr. Gross’s office under local anesthesia and oral sedation. Some patients are able to return to work or routine activities ater 2 or 3 days while others may require additional down time. Some patients experience slight swelling and bruising but have found a little makeup can camouflage the area. Dr. Gross has found his patients to be satisfied with the short and long-term natural and youthful facial improvements as a result of theS-Lift procedure.

Upper Eyelid Blepheroplasty

For those who struggle with sagging eyes as a result of aging, there is a safe treatment that targets only the upper eyelids. Upper eyelid blepheroplasty removes excess skin or fat of the upper eyelid, resulting in an improved overall appearance to the face. When drooping of the upper eyelids interferes with vision (a condition known as ptosis), the procedure may be covered by insurance. This procedure is performed at Georgia Dermatology Center under local anesthesia.

Minimally Invasive Abdominoplasty

The effects of pregnancy, weight gain, even weight loss can have detrimental effects on the abdomen. Diet and exercise can rarely return the abdomen to its original appearance. There are three types of abdominal deformities: wrinkled or loose skin and stretch marks that usually accompanies weight loss or gain; excessive fat tissue, especially in the lower abdomen; or Rectus Muscle Diastastis, a separation of the anterior abdominal muscles.

Luckily there is a solution for both women and men to tighten skin and remove excess fat. Minimally invasive abdominoplasty is a procedure for the abdomen that removes excess fat and skin, tightens underlying muscles, and removes loose or wrinkled skin and stretch marks. It is performed at Georgia Dermatology Center under local anesthesia.
